Tjong A Fie’s Contribution to the Tropen Museum in Amsterdam

Tjong A Fie made an important contribution in 1913 to the development of an institution in Amsterdam, now known as the Tropen Museum.

Through a donation of 25,000 guilders, he supported the construction and development of the institution. This contribution reflects his influence not only at the local level, but also within an international context.

As a form of appreciation, the institution conveyed its gratitude through an official letter addressed to Tjong A Fie. This letter serves as a testament to the recognition of his generosity and contribution.
